Crime Scene Cleanup

Southern California Crime Scene Cleanup

Biohazard remediation and crime scene cleanup are closely related but slightly different in scope and focus. Biohazard remediation refers broadly to the safe removal, cleaning, and disinfection of hazardous biological materials such as blood, bodily fluids, mold, bacteria, viruses, animal waste, or chemical contaminants. It applies to many environments, including hospitals, businesses, vehicles, and homes. Crime scene cleanup is a specialized subset of biohazard remediation that specifically addresses trauma scenes involving homicides, suicides, unattended deaths, or violent incidents. In addition to remediation, crime scene cleanup often requires coordination with law enforcement and heightened sensitivity toward affected families.
